Plated jewelry needs extra care. Here’s what we suggest:
- Avoid water and detergents – they can wear the plating faster.
- Never store jewelry in the bathroom – high humidity and heat are harmful.
- Apply perfume, cream or hairspray before accessorizing.
- Store jewelry in a pouch or jewelry box.
Note: Plated jewelry not made of solid gold can fade over time. But with these precautions, you can keep them beautiful longer.
If your skin has high natural acidity (pH), fading may occur more quickly. In that case, choose unplated silver-tone stainless steel.
ELASTIC BRACELETS
